Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux When opening a PDF document online, and then saving it from the KPDF part, konqueror blocks. It downloads the document yet again (which is quite annoying, when the size is a couple of MBs), and while that download is in progress, the konqueror window is unusable, ie. no clicks are possible. Scrolling doesn't work either. To reproduce, open e.g. http://phptr.com/promotions/../content/images/0131240722/downloads/blanchette_book.pdf with the PDF KPart, and then save the file.

Confirmed on SVN r575787 with the PDF file referred to
Can this still be reproduced? If I open the file in 3.5.9 (Kubuntu 8.04) or SVN trunk rev. 808111 in the embedded viewer and then save it via Location->Save As... in 3.5.9 or File->Save Copy As... in trunk, the displayed file is not downloaded again, so there's no freeze of Konqueror either.
I can no longer reproduce this bug. I'm using 3.5.9 (Kubuntu 8.04). Thanks!
Can't reproduce this bug in kde 3.5.9 and in trunk r810100 with okular part. However it froze for maybe 10 seconds at most in konq4, but I would guess that's a performance issue with the save feature. Closing.
