Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 3.4.0, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3-20050110 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3.20050110-r1, ssp-3.4.3.20050110-0, pie-8.7.7) OS: Linux (ppc) release 2.6.11-gentoo-r6 On gmail (stripped html version) attachments like images are displayed inline and two links are placed near the preview: "View" and "Download". If I click "View" a new tab is created and the image is shown inside it. If I click "Download" a new tab is created and the image is displayed just like "View"! I expect the "Save As..." dialog to appear.
It's a common bug on Konqueror. Depending on the page it opens some kind of files without even asking, even when the settings say specifically to open it in a separate application AND ask before doing so. I think it's a problem due to Konqueror being a Web browser and file manager and having some shared configuration. I hope Konqueror 4.0 has totally separate configurations (regarding file behavor) for file manager and web browser.
Works fine in svn trunk r795406 and 3.5.9.
Works fine with 4.4.5 too
