Description Andreas R. 2005-03-15 05:31:40 UTC
Version: 3.3.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5-r1, ssp-3.3.2-3, pie-8.7.7.1)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-gentoo-r6

Konqueror seems to load documents from the internet even if it didn't change in the meantime.
One could then leave even large documents open on session exit without producing more traffic on session startup.

Tried changing the caching options?

(x) Use cache whenever possible
solves the problem (and this bug), but I actually thought that
(x) Keep cache in sync
should check the time stamp of the file on the internet and reload only if necessary. (But perhaps it's the server that sends the wrong date.)

As Andreas says, (x) Use cache whenever possible solves the problem.
