Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux When I import a calendar using the iCal Format with dates eg. for the next 30 days I can only see dates for the next 5-10 days in Kontact. I've also tried to import it into EGroupware and sync it to Kontact. In EGroupware I can see all dates, in Kontact they disappear too. If needed, I can submit one of the affected iCal files. This happens in all versions of Kontact.
Created attachment 10015 [details] Calender file Sorry, I'm afraid I didn't described that problem correctly (my first bug report ever :-) ). Fact is, I can import from the iCalender file and every date is there, but the times are wrong (2h to early). When I sync this dates to EGroupware and restart Kontact I only get the next few days back from EGroupware but EGroupwares webfrontend has all 30 days. When I import the iCalender file into EGroupware and sync it to Kontact, the times are ok, but I only get a few days though EGroupware has them all. The iCalender testfile is attached (just a university timetable)
Hi Juergen, this is a 'bug' in the eGroupware konnector. It loads only the events from +/-12 days, because in large installations it would cause too heavy network load to load all events. To fix this limitation we'll have to fix the eGroupware server as well, which is work in progress. Ciao, Tobias
Was this fixed in the last 1,5 years?

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
