Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages The field menu in Modify View has Custom as the last selection. It does not show any of my custom fields, but does show the fields from the Details tab. Custom fields are not displayed on any other selection. They are thus not available for adding to views.
I should have mentioned: Version 3.3.1
Does this problem still exist with KDE 3.5?
I can confirm this behaviour with KDE 3.5.5. I have added fields for bank details as custom fields that I do not see in any selection, not in "Custom" and not in "All".
I can reproduce this with KDE 4.1.2. To reproduce: - Edit an existing contact - Go to the last tab. It's marked "Custom Fields" - Hit add field, and add a field - Type something in the field for good measure. - Hit apply, ok. - View -> Modify View... - In the Fields section select "Custom" from the only combobox on the screen. The available fields list gets narrowed down to some fields already included when they were all displayed. My custom status wasn't shown.
The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4. Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
