Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc (GCC) 3.4.3-20050110 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3.20050110, ssp-3.4.3.20050110-0, pie-8.7.7) 
OS:                Linux

When I try to start akregator in KDE 3.4 RC1 (I compiled kdelibs, kdebase and kdepim), I obtain the following error message :

Could not find the Akregator part; please check your installation.

However, I have libakregatorpart.so in the directory /usr/kde/3.4/lib/kde3/ where are all the other parts, I think; but there isn't any problem with other parts anyway.

Resolved : conflicting .la files left from the previous install of akregator.
