probybly this is related to bug 87267 but I don't know.

with no cd inside drive the app is racting normal. as soon as I insert a audiocd the app semms to hang (reaction veeery slow). The ripping does not even work (I terminated the ripp after two or three minutes hanging at 0 percent). It does not depend on running HAL or DBUS od on a special linux kernel version.

The Version from KDE 3.3.2 does work normal. So I currently use this version.

The Version is from CVS source from about 8. of February.

This sounds like it is a dup of 98477 (acting very slow).  Once that is fixed if you are still having problems please re-open this.  thanks!
