Would be really great, if Konqueror web browser remembered last settings like which url was open, size, position etc, like it does when leaving it open and let kde session manager handle it - but when closing it *in* a session.
for example, I need to kill/restart the browser in case a plugin went rampant or konq crashed or the like.
Compare: Opera's "continue from last time" option.
I know I can manually save the session and manually restore it on next call, but that's not really convenient.

This is really a must-have feature, as my Konqui has crashed numerous times today (because I'm running RC1 and upgraded to 3.5 = bad shit happens) and always going to the bookmarks editor and import all crash sessions is really really counterintuitive.. it should have a real per session management, similar to bookmark management but seperate, and probably with a way of removing single tabs from a session (which might have crashed it in the first place). Really, perhaps a mother class could be implemented from where bookmarks and sessions can be inhereted? And that bookmark editor should not be a seperate application imho, but I have no valid argumets for that, it's just emotional...

Kate already has a session manager, Konqi should have one too. The functionality should be similar to the session manager extension of Firefox. It should also keep track what tabs were closed and provide a menu for user to reopen them.

Some things like window size and address are remembered only when savin them explicitely intp the profile.
This should change IMHO, since all other KDE apps remember it automatically and this is really bad for newbies if konqueror doesn´t do it.
I suggest to only remember te address in the profile (which is different for every one), and auto-remember the rest (window size, position, etc) automatically in the started profile.

I agree with comment #8 :

I think a checkbox should be added in the konqueror profile manager : "remember URL on exit" or similar.

The current behavior (default) doesn't remember URL on konqueror exit (the checkbox is unchecked).

When checked, the URL when you quit konqueror will be saved in the profile.
