Description S. Burmeister 2005-01-17 10:37:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.91)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

As middle-click is not assignable to closing a tab because it might break some browser, i.e. konqueror in my case, functionality, I tried khotkeys, i.e. mouse-gestures, which, apart from the "rocker-gestures" work quite well in konqueror. Unfortunaltely, it seems that it is not possible to use mouse gestures on the tabs without any further adjustments. Maybe one hast to add some window to the khotkeys configuration?

I think this would be very useful to be able to use mouse gestures, especially because people are accustomed to using their gestures on konqueror-tabs outside akregator.

If there is a need to setup some things in kcontrol > khotkeys, this should be done from within akregator, e.g. a button labeled: enable mouse gestures for akregator.

This has to be changed to kontact-plugin, sorry.

Changed to kontact plugin component. Anyways, closing tab by doing "up" gesture works fine here...

Works fine if you've selected to use those gestures from khotkeys.
