bugs.kde.org is no help system.
I know, isn't this still a bug? Probably. It yout be Mandrakes fault, your fault or KMix's fault. I don't beleive it is a KMix bug, and that you or Mandrake changed the sound setup. The following message appears if you have no soundcard or no souncard driver: kmixctrl: ERROR: snd_ctl_open err=No such file or directory Probably Mandrake made ALSA default or you installed a TV card or something like that. Dear bug reporter. Do you have any major problems or is it just that console output that you are concerned about? Dear bug reporter. Some volume restauration issues have been resolved in KDE3.3.2. So I would like to ask the bugreporter to try KDE3.3.2. Please give some feedback - please tell whether it is OK, or not OK, or when you intend to test it. There's no feedback from the bug reporter since over 7 months (he did not even bother to give an estimate about when assumes to test the fix). As we beleive this is a Mandrake bug, this bug report is going to be closed. |
