Description Nicolas Brisset 2004-12-12 22:54:44 UTC
Version:           1.1.0_devel (using KDE 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-7mdk

I do not want to criticize too much the work performed by a volunteer, but there are a couple of things in the French translation that need to be fixed. I haven't looked at the tutorial yet, but to stay with the main UI functions (if the translator wants some advice, he should send me an e-mail):

1. "Plot" has been translated everywhere by "Point", which is a _major_ problem. This really gets in the way when you are trying to figure out how kst works and I imagine a newbie would be completely disoriented. The other points below are more minor, but that one MUST be fixed for the next public release ! I suggest to use "Graphe". "Fenêtre de points" in the datamanager would e.g. become "Editer les graphes", the "Points" menu would become "Graphes", "Tous les autres points" serait "Tous les autres graphes", etc. Thank you !
2. "Assistant de données" -> "Assistant import de données"
3. "Activer le zoom amarré" -> "Activer le zoom lié"
4. "Mode de disposition" -> "Mode mise en page"

I've just send the new updated translation with the different correction of problems you talked about.

I hope this translation will be better than the old one!

Thank for reporting (I think you can close this bug now ;-)

Nicolas.
