Description Ryan Egeland 2004-12-05 22:13:45 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.3.1, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-2)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-1-686

Using the xml-rpc resource to access a calendar (egroupware) is buggy. Updates made through ecalendar are propagated to kontact (kalendar) properly, but changes made in kontact are not saved to the groupware service unless saving manually, and quickly, before the resource is re-read from the web by kalendar.

Hi,

that's a bug of korganizer, not of kontact itself, so I'll reaasign it.
Thanks for reporting!

Ciao,
Tobias

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.

It looks that this bug expired, remote calendar and icalsvr is preferred method for syncing Egroupware with KOrganizer since EGw 1.4
So this bug about xml-rpc is not relevant any more. Maybe you should decide to close it.

Sorry for writing that again. I'm now testing Egw-KOrganizer connectivity, and just checking Egw related bugs in bugs.kde.org
