Description Sharon Kimble 2004-11-16 14:04:08 UTC
Version: 1.7 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

When akregator is used within kontact it does not do its hourly update, although it is configured to do so, and does do so when its run as a standalone.

Do you use beta7 or cvs? (I guess "1.7" should read 1.0 beta 7?)

The interval fetching is broken in beta7, but actually in both the standalone app and in the kontact plugin, not only in the plugin.
In CVS, a global fetch interval of e.g. 60 minutes doesn't simply fetch all feeds all together once per hour but fetches feeds individually depending on their last fetch and custom settings (if set, otherwise global setting is used).

Sorry Frank, my mistake. I should've put akregator-1.0_beta7. Guess I'll just
have to wait then for beta 8 :)

Sharon.

I close this, since nobody confirmed it and the interval fetching code is overhauled in beta8.
