Works fine for me in CVS/KDE3.4 beta1. Perhaps you could try a more recent version, 3.1 is quite old. Start konsole from another konsole/xterm and see what the output is when konsole crashes... I didn't have this problem in KDE 3.1, nor before, nor after. Can you at least paste the backtrace? Related to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62863; see comment #8 about readline? It doesn't look like it is the same issue, but I guess this is a readline problem of some sort. I have been using ç and UTF-8 for several years now. WORKSFORME here. Reopen if you can reproduce in 3.3.x or 3.4; if so, mention readline version. |
