Description Danny Allen 2004-10-20 13:24:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)

I think it would be nice if akregator had some kind of built-in central feed source, that would allow the most popular feeds to be imported to the program with just a few clicks.

Presently, the user must hunt down the RSS feed links themselves, many of which can be hidden to the user (eg. BBC News feeds).

Perhaps KNewStuff (or some similar mechanism - maybe like the amaroK "cool streams" repository?) could be used to add this functionality, enabling "newbie" users to use the program more effectively?

Just a thought,
Danny

Yes, this has been on TODO for some time now, we'll see when it'll be implemented.
