Description Ben Fox 2004-10-07 20:58:21 UTC
Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I'd like to see the following "Action" added to the right-mouse-button menu when selecting graphics files:

"Shrink and email"
That is, to take all the selected jpegs (or whatever) reduce them to a smaller size and attach them to a new email in whichever email client is being used. Obviously temporary files would be generated - the selected pictures should retain their original size.

This is, in my opinion, the only decent feature in Win XP that konq doesn't have. If this was on konq then my wife would swap to linux!

Similarly the Transform Image submenu should include a "resize" option.

All reports about file management mode reported against KDE 3 (konqueror) has been closed: konqueror in KDE 3 is no more developed and mantained. All bugs and wishes which could be interesting for Dolphin in KDE 4 (the new KDE file manager) has been collected into a specific list.

Please try the new file manager before request new features and report bugs.

Before submitting new reports check carefully the already opened KDE/Dolphin reports in order not to add duplicates.

Many thanks.
