Description Micha Glave 2004-09-29 11:17:57 UTC
Version: 1.3post (using KDE 3.3.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.1 20040803 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.1-r2, ssp-3.4-2, pie-8.7.6.5)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.7-win4lin-r5

It is possible to hide a layer. Good!
For security reasons this layer should be locked for manipulation too.

by the way: where can I lock a layer to protect him for the manipulation tools, I just found the cross to protect for moving...

mh for a wish the title is not good: Should be something like:
"protect a layer from manipulation..."

That's one of the unimplemented things that should appear on the TODO, but probably won't be done Real Soon Now... I've added it to the TODO list in Krita cvs.

Actually, I don't think the cross icon works to protect the layer from being moved around either.

But it cannot be too hard to implement.

Now I only have to implement it.

It's still happen (koffice 1.3.91)
shouldn't it be fixed since release?
Comment 5 Halla Rempt 2005-05-27 10:08:47 UTC
Well, it kinda got snowed under by all the other items on the todo list. I have added a lock icon, but that doesn't do all that much at the moment either. Still, I've got until Monday...

Almost fixed -- tools are disabled, most actions are disabled, but there's still no good way of making plugins behave. But there's progress!

I'm closing this: it's as good as it will become.
