Description Christoph Eckert 2004-09-21 19:35:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

Kfax gets delivered with KDE, and therefore it would be great if G3/G4/tiff-files would have been automatically assigned to kfax during installation; a normal user will not find out that kfax exists and if so he will most probably not guess that it isnt a program to send but to view fax files (BTW: Why not rename it to FaKsViewer or similar?).

Anyway, kfax could register for tiff and G3/G4 files during installation. Would be great.

CVS commit by deller:

- rotated pages in the view are now printed rotated as well (#90604)
- image/fax-g3 mimetype files are now assigned to kfax as well as image/tiff (#89972)
- FileOpen/FileSaveAs dialogs now use image/fax-g3 and image/tiff mime filters (#69704)
- zooming problems should be gone (#20028)
- Problems with format of fax-files should be fixed as well with the mime additions (#19765)
- drop own copy_file() funtion and use the one from KIO::netaccess instead.
- lots of other small coding cleanups (e.g. use METASOURCE=AUTO)
