Description binimoti 2004-09-11 18:29:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: GCC 3.4
OS: Linux

I'm addicted to the Knewsticker panel applet, but I enjoy a lot better aKregator for a lot of things.
It would be possible to implement a kicker applet like Knewsticker's one?
Which I like most of Knewsticker panel applet it's their news scroll.
What it would be nice is if this applet could distinguish better news feeds, like a different color, or a better priority for new feeds. Currentlly, there is no way to do this in Knewsticker.
Or it would be possible a fusion with the two programs?

I agree with comments that this already exists (knewsticker) and that the "real" fix is to share the backend. However I'm thinking that the backend to share might be the akregator one. Where do we file a bug like this even?

With new plugin system it should be quite possible.
