any more informations ? Could it be related to bug #83708 ? Have a nice day! yes it may be related to bug #83708. ok: 1. start with empty kate. 2. make a new doc 3. save it 4. leave kate => everythings ok 5. restart kate (=> file is reopened) 6. create a second new file 7. save it with CTRL+S => crash ok, it now seems that I cant reproduce the crash on exit anymore (but when I reported it it checked it several times). but now it crashs when saving a new file, but not every time. it seems to depend on the following: - the file should be saved with CTRL+S - there are several files open - there are several files new created and saved with CTRL + S this bug seems to be really strange, since it occures irregulary but sometimes very often. I got also the impression that wether you change a directory before you save the file. sorry but seems really hard to find the exact reproducable context for this crash. but the only difference is that the crash doesnt happen when saving the file, but when leaving kate. it may be related to another bug: kdevelop crashs everytime I leave it. I don't have kde compiled with debug-info. sorry forget the last paragraph. I forgot to delete it when I submitted the message :( Yeap, got this too. Work around: Use Ctrl + Shift + S. |
