Description Gary Pendergast 2004-08-16 14:42:51 UTC
Version: beta5 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.3.3
OS: Linux

When an article has a relative link in it, then the link points to the local file system, rather than the server it came from.

For example, the feed available for waferbaby.com.

The link in an article is relative, ie, link.

When this is downloaded by aKregator, it is assumed to be pointing to file:/foo/bar/here, rather than http://waferbaby.com/foo/bar/here.

Works for me in HEAD.
Comment 2 Chris Kerr 2005-08-12 18:30:51 UTC
The problem is still there in KDE 3.4.1
Comment 3 Chris Kerr 2005-08-26 13:31:44 UTC
Whoops, my bad! It turns out that the RSS feed has bad links.
Sorry

Comment 5 Eckhart Wörner 2005-09-02 01:25:41 UTC
Seems that this problem existed up to KDE 3.4.2 (see duplicate bug). However, it does not occur anymore in current SVN.
Comment 6 Andres Kärner 2005-10-24 08:40:17 UTC
I use KDE 3.4.3 and this problem still exists.
Comment 7 Frank Osterfeld 2005-10-24 09:00:57 UTC
It's fixed in 3.5.
