Description Benjamin Traut 2004-07-28 15:02:28 UTC
Version:           3.2.92 (using KDE 3.2.92 (3.3 beta2), Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3-r6, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.7-gentoo-r11

I use KDE-3.3-beta2 from Gentoo and have found a strage behaviour:
When I *deselect* "View->Folder Icons Reflect Contents", I get the behaviour I would expect when I *select* this option.

(See the KDE-Mailinglist kde@mail.kde.org and the thread "Meaning of "Folder Icons Reflect Contents" switched?" for further information)

Summary:
~~~~~~~~
Two users can reproduce this problem with 3.3-beta2 on Gentoo.
One user can reproduce this with CVS a few day ago.
One user cannot reproduce this problem  with CVS.
So either it seems, it may be a Gentoo-specific problem only affecting some people or this problem is resolved in the most recent CVS-Version of KDE.
I hope I do not add unnecessary noise on b.k.o.
Ciao,
  Benja.
Works here with HEAD as expected.
Comment 2 Benjamin Traut 2004-07-29 19:51:02 UTC
OK, so it seems to be fixed in HEAD. I will close this bug-report now.
BTW I just found out, that I can rename the entries in the Konqueror-sidebar. Jippie!
