Description Enrico Carniani 2004-07-01 12:23:45 UTC
Version: 4.4.1 (using KDE 3.2.2, (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian 20040401)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.6-2-686

The documentation reports that network hotsync is not possible.
Actually, because kpilot uses pilot-xfer, it's possible by setting
net:any as the pilot device. And it works for kpilot too.
Probably it should be said that the GUI is not able to expose this feature, but it is unclear that it can be done anyway (I've been searching for other GUI tools because of this...).

It's in the FAQ, actually, at http://www.slac.com/pilone/kpilot_home/faq.html#s4, but I've added it to the documentation as well. FWIW, when 4.4.1 came out I didn't know that network sync was possible at all.

If user put net:any in device path user cannot changer this value after this:
Kpilot block in accept

Hi Roman!! This should be fixed now. The not-yet-released version of kpilot from /branches/KDE/3.5/kdepim/kpilot should resolve this problem. Please test with that version (kpilot 4.9.1) and re-open this if you still have this problem.

Thanks!! =:)
