Description Michael Baj 2004-06-30 20:13:15 UTC
Version: 3.0.4 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 20040412 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3-r6, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)

OS: Linux

The "Success - Compilation Completed Okay" message in the Message toolbar no longer appears after successful compilation of code. This happened after I moved from version 3.0 to 3.0.4. Currently the last message displayed in the Message Toolbar is the linking messages. This is unsufficient since you don't know when linking is complete.

I confirm this with kdevelop 3.0.4 in Debian unstable. This is with all messages, not just compiling, e.g. automake&friends. I'd like better if not only statusbar but also the message window itself had the message. Still better if it showed also a final error message, though usually you can see from the program's messages if error happened.
