Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Given that there are several types of notification, and several events where notification takes place, there are situations when one would like to use two different notifications for the same event, one independient of the other.

e.g., I run a long command and want to know when it finishes, even if I'm not at the computer. at the same time, I would like to be informed when a bash session running mutt receives a mail. both can be achieved using 'activity detection', but the first one would run kdialog to show a dialog box, while with the latter a passive popup is enough.

one way I think it could be accomplished is by allowing to set the notifications by session profile, so I make a session profile for mutt and another for the work.
