This wasn't implemented because we thought it better to have a standard set of datatypes which are independent of the programming language to be used. See 74429. OK, I can accept this, if this is what we want. But nevertheless the fact remains, that there are no datatypes for SQL whatsoever, not even the standard ones! Yes, this is covered by 74429. |
