Description Slawo Janotta 2004-05-18 16:40:50 UTC
Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-215-athlon

- When switching from an other Active Language to SQL (Code->Active Language->SQL) and selecting Code->Add Default Datatypes for Active Language, no SQL datatypes are loaded, instead the datatypes from the old Active Language remain active.
- When starting Umbrello with SQL set as default Active Language (set in the preferences), no default datatypes are loaded.

On my system this behaviour occurs each time, so it looks like the default datatypes for SQL aren't implemented at all.

This wasn't implemented because we thought it better to have a standard set of datatypes which are independent of the programming language to be used.

See 74429.

OK, I can accept this, if this is what we want.
But nevertheless the fact remains, that there are no datatypes for SQL whatsoever, not even the standard ones!
Comment 3 Jonathan Riddell 2004-06-12 20:01:30 UTC
Yes, this is covered by 74429.
