Description Andrew Bird 2004-05-09 20:51:23 UTC
Version: 1.6.2 (using KDE 3.2.2, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-xfs

When dragging a message from message pane to folder. The message icon is not repainted behind as it moves. This is like an old mouse pointer on a laptop, giving a trail effect. Once the dragging stops the whole pane is repainted covering up the trail. I may see this more that most since my machine is only 2x550Mhz processor but does have a nvidia gefore 4 graphics card.

I have tried that with kmail svn r860337. Although there is no trail (everything seems to be repainted correctly), the mail icon below the cursor seems very sluggish. It stays back when you move the cursor quickly. I am not sure if this is expected or if there is anything we could do to improve it.

should it be closed?

Hi,
I no longer have the specific system I saw the problem on. Later versions of KDE don't seem to have the issue. Please mark it as fixed.
