Description Chrom_ 2004-05-09 17:56:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1KDE 1.2)
Installed from: Unspecified LinuxMandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

It happens quite often to hear skipping while juk plays an mp3. It happens when the HD is working a lot. I'm puzzled by the fact that nobody reported this before. There should be a buffer memory to avoid skipping.

Uhm, yeah, this has been reported over and over again. ;-)

It's usually an aRts related configuration issue, so I'm reassigning this to aRts and will wait for someone to dig out the appropriate duplicate.

Arts is no longer developed and has been unmaintained for quite some time - more than 2 years. With phonon as the replacement for arts in KDE4, we're closing out all the arts bugs in Bugzilla since there is no chance of them being fixed.

Thanks
