Version: 3.0.3 (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I like IDEAl mode, but there is one thing that I miss from Childframe and Toplevel modes: the ability to view multiple windows/files at the same time.

Would it be possible to have an IDEAl mode that has sub-windows like the MDI style of Childframe?

What I really want is to be able to view multiple files at the same time without having to flip between tabs, and so any solution that lets me do that would work for me.

I think this is among the most wanted features within the devteam as well, but it's not exactly trivial to implement.

I voted for it.. ;)

Isn't this a duplicated from bug #59320 ?
