when an information or error dialog pops up ( eg. warning about leaving encrypted connection ) it often does so on a different virtual desktop top the one the konqueror window is open on.

i think this is happening when i have launched konqueror on desktop A then moved the window to desktop B, or when the current konqueror window is not on the desktop that konqueror was initially launched on for the current login session, ... but am not 100% sure.

this is very annoying because kde naturally becomes unresponsive until the dialog is acknowledged ... but you don't know why at first!

first paragraph should read:
