This applies to kontact and all the modules individually too, and it's no small 
task, but it's nevertheless very useful and almost a 'killer feature' in some 
respects since I don't know of any other such app that does it.  I think there 
should be a way for a user to store his "profile" in kontact, which would 
consist of all the portable settings in there.  They could then be transferred 
to another machine (or even a competing app if that app could parse the 
profile).  Integrated with something like kitchensync this would be very 
impressive.  I would be able to, for instance, log into my laptop and take my 
whole profile from my desktop machine, picking up the new settings, etc.
