http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67228#c30 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 67228 *** Hi, I upgraded autoconf. I used one from a different linux, but the packager was a red hat person. I am still getting the error though. [root@pc1 autoconf2.5]# rpm -qa |grep autoconf autoconf-2.13-19mdk [root@pc1 autoconf2.5]# rpm -ev autoconf-2.13-19mdk error: Failed dependencies: autoconf is needed by (installed) kdevelop-3.0.0-6mdk autoconf is needed by (installed) rpm-build-4.2.2-7mdk [root@pc1 autoconf2.5]# ls autoconf2.5-2.59-3mdk.noarch.rpm autoconf-2.57-3.noarch.rpm [root@pc1 autoconf2.5]# rpm -ivh autoconf-2.57-3.noarch.rpm warning: autoconf-2.57-3.noarch.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 9b3c94f4 Preparing... ########################################### [100%] file /usr/bin/autoconf from install of autoconf-2.57-3 conflicts with file from package autoconf-2.13-19mdk file /usr/bin/autoheader from install of autoconf-2.57-3 conflicts with file from package autoconf-2.13-19mdk file /usr/bin/autoreconf from install of autoconf-2.57-3 conflicts with file from package autoconf-2.13-19mdk file /usr/bin/autoscan from install of autoconf-2.57-3 conflicts with file from package autoconf-2.13-19mdk file /usr/bin/autoupdate from install of autoconf-2.57-3 conflicts with file from package autoconf-2.13-19mdk file /usr/bin/ifnames from install of autoconf-2.57-3 conflicts with file from package autoconf-2.13-19mdk [root@pc1 autoconf2.5]# rpm -Uvh autoconf-2.57-3.noarch.rpm warning: autoconf-2.57-3.noarch.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 9b3c94f4 Preparing... ########################################### [100%] 1:autoconf ########################################### [100%] [root@pc1 autoconf2.5]# On Thursday 01 April 2004 09:53 am, Stephan Binner wrote: > ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- > You reported the bug, or are watching the reporter. > > http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78867 > binner kde org changed: > > What |Removed |Added > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- >- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED > Resolution| |DUPLICATE > > > > ------- Additional Comments From binner kde org 2004-04-01 16:53 ------- > http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67228#c30 > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 67228 *** Same bug here, on Mandrake 10 Community. This stinks. Forgot to mention: I am not using Konstruct. Downloaded source 3.2.1. This was successful the past 200 times I've done it, and even worked (3.2.1 even) on Mandrake 9.2. Now, I'm stuck on KDE 3.2 in MDK10. Upgraded Autoconf to 2.5, libltdl and devel packages loaded. Also tried compiling ltdl from source from the ltdl site. http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool/ Installed to /usr/local/lib ldconfig -v >foo vi foo /ltdl reveals: /usr/local/lib: libltdl.so.3 -> libltdl.so.3.1.0 It's also in /lib Checked the source for ltdl.c and it seemed fine, but I'm no C/C++ guru. Probably a bug somewhere in MDK. Damn. set export WANT_AUTOCONF_2_5=1 Same error... Can't uninstall autoconf-2.13 because it has dependencies... |
