I come from Windows XP and there I could configure the (clickable) middle mouse wheel to do any keyboard combination.
My main wish is to close any window be pushing the middle wheel.
Best would be to be able to configure each single program different. I could do this with my windows mouse driver and that was very cool!

E.g. i want to say: on mouse wheel click do 
- for opera ctrl+f4
- for xmms alt+f2
......

The middle mouse button has already enough funtionality in X.
