Description Ernst de Haan 2004-03-27 11:50:50 UTC
Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 4.9-STABLE

First of all, my compliments for Konsole. It's the nicest terminal emulation program around. I love to show it to Windows users that are strugling with 15 Putty windows :-) I'm already very happy with Konsole, but it could be improved here and there, to make it even more powerful.

Here's the suggestion: It would be very nice if I could start any kind of Konsole session directly, for example from the Kicker. See the attached picture for an idea of what this could look like.

At the moment if I want to start a certain kind of custom session, I have to start Konsole, which gives me a standard Shell session, then I have to create a new tab with the type of session I would like, and then I have to close the initial Shell session...
