If using background image or transparency in konsole X windows become very slow. If the Xfree video driver is fast, this cannot be seen with few konsole. To see it, open a konsole, select a transparency model, open 10 tabs then switch quickly from a desktop to another (ctrl-F1 ctrl-F2). X windows take 100% CPU and system become very slow during few seconds.

This bug can be reporoduce with QT 3.2.3 and QT 3.3.1 and KDE .3.2.1. On the same computer (same XFree) with KDE 3.1.4 and QT 3.2.1 there is no bug at all.

If using simple modele (like white & black) with no background image nor transparency, everything is fast even with lots of konsole.
