Version: 2.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

Noatun doesn't remember its last position and always opens on the same place.

This is standard behaviour for most applications, I'm not sure if Noatun should start and override positions set by the window-manager.
Comment 3 Michael Nottebrock 2005-02-04 12:33:16 UTC
Well, the issue is that noatun DOES overide the position set by the window-manager, so it doesn't reappear where it was when the session was saved.
Comment 4 Stefan Gehn 2005-02-04 12:38:59 UTC
Which plugin is that? I don't know of any mainwindow saving its position, only its size.
Comment 5 Michael Nottebrock 2005-02-04 13:01:37 UTC
All of them. I just noticed another strange thing that might be related: When saving a session, all noatun windows disappear (it does not crash!). This is easily overlooked if you save your session on logout, but is nicely visible if you configure the session manager to restore manually saved sessions and then select 'Save Session' from the k-menu with a noatun window open.

noatun has not been part of the KDE 4 release and is no longer maintained.

KDE now offers Dragon as a video player and JuK as a music player. Additionally, other popular KDE players have been ported to KDE 4, such as Amarok or Kaffeine.

If this issue is still applicable to KDE 4 applications, please add a comment or file a new report.
