I assume this is because of the kpty problem in KDE 3.2.0 |
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc 3.3.2 OS: Linux When I start Konsole with Strg+T from Konqueror and try to open a ssh-connection, the following happens: ---------- $ ssh 10.33.33.1 >This is the SSH-BANNER from the sshd running on 10.33.33.1< ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/lib/misc/ssh-askpass): No such file or directory Write failed: Broken pipe ---------- So you can see: SSH tries to connect, gets the usual banner-text from the sshd on the remote machine and then it cancels because of a broken pipe. I tried several versions from openssh (currently openssh-3.7.1_p2-r2 from gentoo), but it doesnn't matter. Using a normal Konsole (not opened by Konqueror) and ssh is working fine. btw: sshd on remote and ssh on client have the same Version number and they are working fine.
