Description Carsten Schlipf 2004-02-19 13:37:37 UTC
Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 20030222 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.2-5)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-18.9

This applies to the dialog Settings -> Configure Konqueror -> Proxy -> Setup...

Here I can add a list of hostnames that should not go via a proxy, when connecting to.

I can't add my local hostname to it if it is not a FQDN. E.g. the hostname of my computer ist element. When I am not connected to a network, I don't have a FQDN, so I would simply like to add element. When clicking on New... and entering element, the new hostname is not added to the list and there is no error message. If I had element.yeap.de it works. If I then change the existing entry back to element, "element" appears in the list. However after closing the configuration dialogs and reopening the dialogs the "element" hostname is gone again.

Entering element* does also not work.
