Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

If there is nothing in the above part of KDE menu (ie. no recent applications or mostly used applications), everything is OK; but as soon as there is something, the little "arrows" indicating a sub-menu item disappear. But these arrows are there in the second, third etc. sub-menus.

If there is no recent application list enabled (number of items set to 0), the arrows are there.

If its is not really clear what I mean, I can show screenshots.

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
