Description Ignacio Castaño 2004-02-17 20:28:22 UTC
Version: 3.0 (using KDE 3.1.5)
Installed from: (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20031229 (prerelease) (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.0

Some images use the alpha channel to store other information instead of alpha, for example glossiness. There's no way to detect that from the kview nor from kimgio, so the best option would be to allow the user to choose the most appropiate option. Alpha should be turned on by default, but it would be nice to manually disable it in those situations.

Kview is no more mantained/developed. This bug wish will not be fixed until a new developer will work on it. Moreover this product is not ported to KDE4. On KDE4 it has been replaced by another software. I'm closing this bug as "unmantained". I'm sorry.

Regards.
