Description robert lindgren 2004-02-09 22:23:52 UTC
Version: 1.6 (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When new imap mails arrive in inbox, and inbox is selected, new mails doesn't show up. You'll have to scroll either down or up depending on sort order.

This might have some advantages, but non that I can think of, and no other mailclient behaves this way (not that I'm familiar with anyway. Mozilla mail, thunderbird,sylpeed-claws,evolution,outlook,opera m2 and so on, all scroll the messages down so that the newest mails are visible if one is at the top of the message list, i.e making the newly arrived message visible, without any user interaction.

If this behavior is not the prefered by kmail users, is it possible to implement is as an option, so that user of other mail clients can have an easy transition to this otherwise lovely software.
