Description Mike Green 2004-02-05 19:26:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

The folder selection interface when selecting folders for Sent mail, Trash, Drafts, etc.. is klunky and very difficult to use when multiple imap accounts exist, often causing mistakes.

Examples are selecting the Sent-mail or Drafts folder in the Advanced tab under identities, or selecting the Trash folder on the General Tab when modifying receiving network preferences.

It would be nice to have a folder selection list similar to the mailbox list, where you can expand/contract the folder lists etc...

I consider this to be a huge usability issue.

The folder selection interface has changed to the dialog you get when you press m to move a message.

When selecting the sent-mail folder in a composer window, I don't get the same dialog as when I press m to move a message. I get a complete screen full of mailbox names... http://david.woodhou.se/choosefolder.png

KDE 3.5.1, kmail 1.9.1.

My sent-mail selection

For me, it is just a combobox with a scroll, I am also using 1.9.1. How do you
obtain the type of folder selection you have?
