IMHO, much better
did you try different GUI styles? Subject: Re: proper widgets should be used for list and menu checkboxes Its the same with every style. Created attachment 4688 [details]
Current Noatun Configure Dialog
Notice the black boxes, this same style of checkbox-in-list is used in other
apps as well.

what lists could possibly look like
Here is a mock up of something that looks a bit better.
And yes, I did make a mistake, checkboxes in menus do change with styles, its
just that many styles that a based on Keramik haven't been bothered changing
this. One style that does do this well is .NET. And yes, I realize that this
is a very minor thing that I shouldn't be posting attachments for. ;-)
Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy 958974) KDE: 4.2.71 (KDE 4.2.71 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090428)) kdelibs svn rev. 960693 / kdebase svn rev. 960693 on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.1 Both Plastique(Plastik@Qt4) and Oxygen use proper widgets for the checkbox/optionbutton in the menus. (You can check it in Kate Tools menu) |
