Description Francisco Dalla Rosa Soares 2004-01-09 15:44:36 UTC
Version: 0.9.1 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.24KuroiHoshi

I've been trying to play the game for some time and everytime I start a game, it shows me everything on the minimap but the main game screen gets stucked somehow and don't show me anything. It's been more than 5 minutes and I still don't get anything. I've tried before many times and always get the same. I have a AMD Duron 1200 MHz, 256 Mb RAM, NVidia GeForce2 MX400 64Mb, Linux Slackware 9.1 and all the dependencies are met.

Hi
is there any debug output when you start boson from console?
Is the screen completely black? Or white? Or is the terrain rendered but no units?
Can you still click the menu?
Does loading a model in borender (comes with boson) work?

Do you use the proprietary NVidia drivers?

I am closing this bug now, because I did not get a reply. I suspect a duplication of #71353.
