Yeah - I also see that problem! I'd like to be able to chose the MacOS-style for KDE-Apps (with a correct menu bar), but I'm not interested in a besktop menu bar. Even more using non-KDE programs (especially maximized) it's quite uncomfortable having the desktop menu bar at the top and the normal menu bar inside the (maximized) window. In my view the correct solution would be to split up the current 3 alternative Options of "Menu Bar at Top of Screen" into 2 checkboxes: 1. "Menu Bar at Top of Screen" (if not: show menu bar inside windows) 2. "Show Desktop menu bar" (if not: never show a menu bar) I wouldn't underestimate these points since the MacOS-style menu bar is a great feature, but lots of people are using non-kde apps and get this ugly behavior when chosing the Mac-style.
