Version:           3.1.94 (using KDE 3.1.94 (CVS >= 20031206), Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-2mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.0-0.5mdk

In KDE 3.1.x, a right mouse click on a link gave two options for opening the link in a new tab, one for opening in a background tab and the other for opening in a foreground tab.

1) In this version, I see only one option : open in new tab

2) Whats worse is that this option is for opening in a _background_ tab ! Its understandable that an user opening a link is doing so to view it and therefore the tab should, by default, be opened in foreground, not background.

So how do I open a link in a foreground tab ? Or is that option gone altogether ?

It's configurable wether a new tab is opened in the background or not.

Its configurable in the advanced options in web behavior. But that does not change the fact that I cannot _on_ the_fly_ open a new tab in foreground or background, something KDE-3.1.4 allowed.
