I have the same trouble with the RPM installation for Red Hat 9. This bug renders Konqueror almost useless as a File Manager. I'm now on KDE 3.1.4, I've seen this problem for a while. Perhaps like others, I thought it might be a configuration option that I would eventually get around to fixing, but now I realize it isn't so. I would like to add that the problem is reproducible for me at well over 50% when moving UP the directory tree in the navigation panel; however the problem rarely if ever manifests itself when moving down the tree. Also, waiting/delaying before moving the mouse after selecting a directory (when moving up or at the same level, of course) usually prevents the problem from manifesting itself, but of course slows me down. I have the same with KDE 3.1.5 on gentoo, it is here since 3.1.2, but I think it is now reproducible by 90% . Only in the deepest folder of a selection it works sometimes correctly. Mouse or drag and drop config does not change this problem. *** Bug has been marked as fixed ***. |
