Description Charles Phoenix 2003-12-10 21:52:05 UTC
Version: 3.1.4 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031022 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r2, propolice)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.23_pre8-gss

When using the kid/audiocd for encoding I noticed that it did not acknowledge the removal of the CD. When I placed a new CD in it still had the previous CD data displayed and prompted that the directory was no longer available. A manual refresh caused it to read the new CD. At no time did I mount the CD.

there is simply no concept for that. Think of the audiocd view as a webpage. If
the webauthors change the content, konqueror doesn't know either.

If you use KAudioCreator it does scan once a second and tell audiocd to refresh, but yah, audiocd can't support this because kio can't. The view is static. Sorry.
