Description Michael Plagge 2003-11-28 17:24:13 UTC
Version: 3.0.0b1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

After working a while with the 3.0.0b1 version of kdevelop all the
names of the Tree Tools disappear. When i open the menu
View->Tree Tool View... I see only text in the first
row "All tree views". In the rest of the rows i only see a checked box
without the appropriate name of the tool (e.g. class view, bookmarks etc.).
Also the names disappear from the tree tool pane. Only the icons stay at the tab.

Can not reproduce with KDE 3.1.3 and Qt 3.1.2

Please update to the latest KDevelop from CVS HEAD.

I've seen it on occasion, but kmdi has been updated since and I no longer see the problem.

Assuming fixed.

I am using kdevelop CVS from 20 December, on KDE 3.1.4 and QT 3.2.3 (Gentoo Linux x86). I have this problem, it appears as shown in Michael Plagge's attachment. I noticed it on 3.0.0b2, updated from CVS to get rid of it, but it is still there.

Also, the options I set are not saved: every time I start kdevelop, all of the Tree Tool Views are checked.

Please let me know if there is anything else I should be looking at.

Still have this behaviour with KDE 3.2.2 and KDevelop 3.0.3. No addition screen dump attached, it looks like the one in the attachment "image of view->tree tool views menue".

Assuming to be a RedHat specific problem.
