Description Janis Blechert 2003-11-23 19:56:38 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.1.93 (CVS >= 20031111), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-ck2

in KDE 3.1.4 i was able to use the winkey as mod4 and now after updating to recent CVS (and deleting .kde to have a clear start) i cant use it anymore, was this changed or why doesnt it work out how it should?

It happened to me also. I just selected 'KDE Defaults with 4 modifier keys' from KDE Control Center->Keyboard shortcuts and it worked.

It not being assigned means it's an X error or you forgot to properly configure the keyboard with kxkb.

Its not a KDE bug but has to do with X. Marking the bug invalid.
